Core Skills Training 3 & 4 (B)

May 14, 2025 - May 16, 2025

Louisiana EFT Community is honored to have EFT Trainer Dr. James Furrow to facilitate EFCT Core Skills Training 3 & 4 on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, through Friday, May 16, 2025, starting at 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM CST.

The EFCT Core Skills 3 & 4 Training will be located at Tulane University School of Social Work. Tulane's Porter Cason Institute originally brought EFT to our state, and they continue to be a sponsoring partner in providing EFT training for our Louisiana Community for EFT.

EFCT Core Skills 3 & 4 will focus on EFT Stage Two and Three. This training is limited to 16 attendees, where participants will learn through didactic instruction, role play, and presentation of their own work via videotape.  Participants must show 10 minutes of their work with a real couple during one of the core skills modules.

*The scope of this training primarily focuses on couples' work, discussing the unique complexities and challenges in these dynamics. However, the interventions and theoretical framework can also be applied in family and individual sessions.

24 Continuing Education Hours will be provided to licensed and provisionally licensed therapists. Attending both Core Skills 1&2 and 3&4 are encouraged. A total of 48 Continuing Hours will be obtained when attending both training events.

The LA Community for EFT will award 2 partial scholarships to 2 therapists who are from or work with historically marginalized populations. Please email lacommunityforeft@gmail.com for an application. Scholarship applications will be due by Friday, November 14, 2024.

Please email lacommunityforeft@gmail.com for further questions about Core Skills.
